Charles Colson’s Death Reminds Us of the Real Lesson of Watergate Posted: COMMENTARY| Former special council to Richard Nixon Charles Colson died Saturday. He was known as Nixon's "hatchet man," according to National Journal. Because Colson was sent to jail over his role in the Watergate scandal, his death has brought up again the biggest lesson of any presidential scandal, including Watergate -- presidents who act corrupt don't go to jail, for if anyone is going to be locked up, it will be those who have top access to presidents. |
Iranian Spy Drone Mass-Production Would Cause Worst-Case Scenario Posted: COMMENTARY | Iran claims it has successfully reverse-engineered the American spy drone captured last year within the country's borders, according to the Associated Press. As someone who studies politics, I am not very worried about Iran using this technology as much as I am concerned by the door this opens for the nation. The thought of Iran sharing this technology with other countries and terrorist organizations scares me the most. |
