Islamic State using birth control to keep supply of sex slaves: NY Times Posted: 12 Mar 2016 02:53 PM PST The Islamic State is using several forms of contraception to maintain its supply of sex slaves, the New York Times reported on Saturday, citing interviews with more than three dozen Yazidi women who escaped from the militant group. The New York Times reported that Islamic State used "oral and injectable contraception, and sometimes both" to ensure that the women did not become pregnant and could be passed among the fighters. Islamic State militants consider the Yazidis to be devil-worshippers.

Five of the strikes in Iraq were near Ramadi, hitting three separate Islamic State tactical units and an Islamic State fighting position. In Syria, four of the strikes were near Mar'a, hitting 10 Islamic State fighting positions and two weapons caches.

The suspected mustard gas attack on Taza that left a three-year-old girl dead "will not go unpunished", the premier said in a statement. A large number of rockets were fired at Taza on Wednesday from the nearby village of Bashir, which is held by the jihadists.

Holger Muench, president of the BKA federal police, told Redaktionsnetzwerk (RND) Deutschland, that Europe's IT security architecture was insufficient. Only around half of the European Union's 28 member states automatically compare finger prints or DNA profiles, he said.
