ContributorNetwork - I've been retired for almost 20 years, the first 19 of them in Tucson, Ariz. Due to failing health, I moved to Los Angeles in mid-2010 to be near my children. I served in the Navy during World War II, and was recalled to serve two more years in the Korean War. My wife of 45 years and I live a comfortable lifestyle. I receive sufficient income from a company pension, a company investment plan and Social Security to enjoy life. We are fortunate to be covered by an excellent health care plan provided for retirees from my company, Prudential Financial, Inc.
